The Hah alloy B2 is nickel-molybdenum alloy, which has a lower carbon compared to the Haust alloy B, which exhibits excellent hydrochloric acid, aluminum chloride catalyst and other strong reducing chemical tolerance. Hastelloy B2 is suitable for most chemical processes in welding. It is ideal for devices for hydrochloric acid of various concentrations and temperatures. HP-resistant hydrogen gas and sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid. The main high temperature use is the use of low thermal expansion coefficients. It should be avoided at temperatures of 540 to 815 ° C (1000-1500 ° F), as the ductility of the alloy will decrease. In an oxidizing gas such as air, Hastelloy B2 can be used at temperatures up to 540 ° C (1000 ° F). In reduced gas or vacuum, the alloy can be used at 815 ° C (1500 ° F) to a higher temperature.
